1 I do not know the way to go,
Do Thou, O gracious Savior, show
The perfect way from day to day,
Then shall I never go astray.

Thy love can never, never fail,
O’er all my foes I shall prevail,
And I will follow after Thee,
O lead me, Saviour, lead Thou me.

2 I know not what is best for me,
And, tho’ the way, I can not see,
Help me to love and trust Thee still,

3 I need Thy loving hand to guide
And keep me ever near Thy side,
Till in Thy kingdom I shall shine,
