266. Once more before we part

1 Once more before we part,
We'll bless the Saviour's name;
Record his mercies, every heart;
Sing, every tongue, the same.

2 Lord, in thy grace we came,
Thy blessing still impart;
We met in Jesus' sacred name,
In Jesus' name we part.

3 May we receive his word,
And feed thereon, and grow;
Go on to seek and know the Lord,
And practice what we know.

4 Soon shall we hear him say,
"Ye blessed children, come!"
Soon will he call us hence away
To our eternal home.

5 There shall each raptured tongue
His endless praise proclaim,
And sweeter voices tune the song
Of Moses and the Lamb.
