Tune: | DROOPING SOULS |
1 Drooping souls, no longer grieve;
Heaven is propitions.
If Christ you do believe,
You will find him precious.
Jesus now is passing by
Calls the wanderers to him;
Drooping souls, you need not die,
Now look up and view him.
2 From his hands, his feet, his side,
Runs a healing fountain;
See the consolation tide.
Boundless as the ocean.
See the living waters move
For the sick and dying;
Now resolve to gain his love,
Or to perish trying.
3 Grace he offers full and free,
Drooping souls to gladden;
Hear him say, "Come unto me,
Weary, heavy laden:"
Though your sins like mountains high,
Rise and reach to heaven,
Soon as you on him rely,
All shall be forgiven.
