Who bowed in Jordan's wave?
Clad in his armor will ye dare,
In faith, a watery grave?

2 All hail! ye blessed band,
Shrink not to do his will;
In deep humility this work
Of righteousness fulfill;

3 Tread in his steps, with prayer
Invoke his Spirit free,
And as he burst the gates of death
So may our rising be.
