1 Make broad the path, unbar the gatem
The King of glory comes in state:
Behold the Lord of lords appear;
The Savior of mankind is near.
2 See health and wealth are in His train,
Exult and raise the joyful strain:
Ye ransomed sons of Adams' race,
Praise God, the Fount of every grace!
3 The Sun of justice, help in need,
On wings of mercy He doth speed:
His regal crown is holiness,
His scepter mercy, quickt to bless.
4 He is the very Sun of joy,
And fraught with bliss without alloy,
All praise to God the Lord of Light,
My joy and comfort, day and night!
5 Jesu, Ty Spirit guide my way
Unto the land of endless day!
Laud, honor, love and fairest fame
Ascribe we all to Jesu's name!
