1 Flow on, thou sparkling river,
Whose waters glad and free,
In all their tranquil beauty,
Out waiting eyes shall see,
Amid you cloudless region,
So lovely, bright, and fair;
Flow on, O sparkling river,
Our hearts and homes are there.
