1 One sweetly solemn thought
Comes to me o’er and o’er;
I’m nearer to my home today
Than e’er I’ve been before.
But waves of that dark sea
Are rolling in my sight;
Yet, bright beyond the roiling tide,
Appears the dawn of light.
