192. Easter Carol

1 Angels from heaven a carol are singing,
Wonderful tidings of joy from above;
Down thro’ the dawn their sweet message is ringing,
Telling the news of marvelous love.

Refrain:
Jesus is risen, our Savior is risen!
Sing, Easter angels, and teach us your song;
Jesus is risen, our Savior is risen!
Praise and dominion to Him shall belong.

2 Angels immortal, in garments of glory,
White-robed, and shining with light from on high,
Chant their glad message, proclaiming the story,
Spreading the word thro’ earth and the sky. [Refrain]

3 Angels of glory, O messengers royal,
Speak to us here, and your tidings impart!
Teach us to praise Him, to ever be loyal,
Be He alone enthroned in each heart. [Refrain]
