279. The Universal Debt of Praise

1 Established in the highest heav'ns
The Lord has set his throne.
And over all His kingdom rules,
For He is God alone.

2 Ye angels that excel in strength,
Bless ye the Lord, your God;
Ordained to hear and do his will,
Proclaim His praise abroad.

3 Bless ye the lord, all ye His hosts
That serve the Lord, your King,
And wilt His pleasure to perform;
To Him your praises bring.

4 Bless ye the Lord, all ye His works
In His dominion broad,
And, never ceasing, O my soul,
Bless thou the Lord, thy God.
