119:105-112b. Your Word Sheds Light upon My Path

1 Your word sheds light upon my path;
a shining lamp, it guides my feet;
Your righteous judgements to observe,
my solemn vow I now repeat.

2 Severe affliction, LORD, is mine;
send help according to Your Word.
Accept my sacrifice of praise
and make me know Your judgements, LORD.

3 In constant danger is my life,
Your righteous law I'll not forget.
I have not from Your precepts strayed,
despite the snares the wicked set.

4 Your precepts are my heritage;
they daily make my heart rejoice.
To keep Your statutes faithfully
shall ever be my willing choice.
