Text: | In Him Dwelleth |
Author: | L. C. H. |
Tune: | [Jesus is dearer than ever to me] |
Composer: | L. C. Hall |
1 Jesus is dearer than ever to me;
In Him the Godhead in fullness I see;
Brighter and brighter the path grows each day,
Clearer and clearer with mists rolled away.
Chorus:
In Him dwelleth all fullness of God,
Father and Son and the Spirit, these three;
Dwelleth in Him who alone is our God;
Thus He has solved the great mystery.
2 Jesus reveled it; we bless His dear name;
That thro’ all ages He’s ever the same;
Tempests around me are raging and wild;
In Him I’m resting for I am God’s child. [Chorus]
3 This He’s revealing today to His own;
Those who are trusting, who love Him alone;
Gladly we worship and praise evermore,
Father and Son and the Spirit adore. [Chorus]
