Notes: | Ps. 105 not only tells us to remember, tell, and make known the deeds of the Lord, but it also provides a model for how to do so. This prayer outline begins and ends with the framing words of Ps. 105, and allows for us to follow the model of the psalm, a joyful retelling of God’s redemptive history. Ps. 105 focuses especially on God’s works in the time of Joseph and Moses. Our improvisatory praise can include a wide variety of memories from both biblical history and our own lives. This outline for a doxological memorial could be used for nearly any occasion. It is especially fitting for celebrations of the festivals in the Christian year that mark particular actions of God in history. |
