CXXXIIb | The Psalms of David#CXXXIIIa | CXXXIIIb |
Text: | Brotherly Love |
1 Lo, what an entertaining sight
Are brethren that agree,
Brethren, whose chearful hearts unite
In bands of piety!
2 Where streams of bliss from Christ the spring
Descend on ev'ry soul,
And heav'nly peace, with balmy wing,
Shades and bedews the whole.
3 'Tis like the oil divinely sweet
On Aaron's rev'rend head,
The trickling drops perfum'd his feet,
And o'er his garments spread.
4 'Tis pleasant as the morning dews
That fall on Sion's hill,
Where GOD his mildest glory shews,
And makes his grace distil.
