Heedless of the tempest shock,
Walks the waters steadily,
As upon the granite rock.

Though the howling tempest raves,
Jesus, mighty Jesus, saves;

2 Walking through the storm and strife,
Wailing winds and billows roar,
Blessed promises of life

3 Walking thus and all is well,
With my eyes on help divine,—
