Text: | The Song of Simeon |
29. Now Lord, as thou hast said, dismiss,
In Peace, thy Servant, to his Rest:
30. Because my longing Eyes, with Sight
Of thy Salvation, have been blest.
31. Which thou hast wondrously prepar'd,
Open, before all People's Face;
A Light to Gentiles, shining clear.
And Glory to thine Isr'el's Race.
