1 Children, hear the melting story
Of the Lamb that once was slain:
'Tis the Lord of life and glory:
Shall he plead with you in vain?
Oh, receive him,
And salvation now obtain.
2 Yield no more to sin and folly,
So displeasing to his sight;
Jesus loves the pure and holy;
They alone are his delight:
Seek his favor,
And your hearts to him unite.
3 All your sins to Him confessing,
Who is ready to forgive,
Seek the Saviour's richest blessing,
On his precious name believe;
He is waiting:
Will you not his grace receive?
