13. Everybody Ought to Love Him

1 Ev’rybody ought to love my Savior,
Some are strangers to His loving care,
There is room for all who seek His favor,
There is hope for all who feel despair.

Refrain:
Ev’rybody, ev’rybody,
Ev’rybody ought to love Him,
Jesus died for you and the whole world too,
Ev’rybody ought to love Him.

2 Ev’rybody ought to know His blessing,
His forgiveness is for evermore,
Come to Him thy sin and shame confessing
Broken hearts His mercy can restore. [Refrain]

3 Ev’rybody ought to know His gladness,
There is joy for ev’ry troubled heart,
He will not forsake you in your sadness,
let the blessed Lord His joy impart. [Refrain]

4 Ev’rybody ought to know His kindness,
O how tenderly He deals with men,
Tho’ your sin-sick soul is dark with blindness,
He can make you see the light again. [Refrain]
