1 O wandering one, why longer roam,
And seek from God to hide?
Thy Saviour waits to lead thee home,
It was for this He died!

Thy scarlet sins like snow shall be,
Through Christ, the crucified.
Behold the Cross of Calvary!

2 O prodigal, return today!
Thou wilt not be denied!
He never casts His own away—
