54. The Fountain Full and Free

1 Ho! ev’ry one that thirsteth!
The fountain full and free,—
The fountain of salvation,—
Is flowing now for thee.
Come taste the living water;
Come, take the cup I give:
The gift is life eternal,—
Canst thou refuse to live?

Ho! ev’ry one that thirsteth!

2 Ho! ev’ry one that thirsteth!
With ready heart and hand
Accept the blessing offered,
Its value understand.
Lift up the voice in earnest,
And cry, forevermore:
Give me the living water,
That I may thirst no more. [Refrain]

3 Ho! ev’ry one that thirsteth!
The Spirit sayeth, Come,
The Bride unites her gentle voice,
And bids thee welcome home.
The spring of life eternal
Is opened her for thee,
The fountain of salvation
Is flowing full and free. [Refrain]
