1 Jesus loves the little children,
Knows about their work and play,
Helps them when they try to please Him,
Hears them always when they pray.
Happy, happy little children,
Jesus hears them when they pray!

2 Jesus thinks about the children
All the nights and all the days;
Leads the little feet that follow
Into wisdom's pleasant ways.

3 He will keep them, when they ask Him,
Always patient, true and mild;
Jesus knows about their troubles,
He was once a little child.
