15. Save your people, Lord, and bless your inheritance

Presiding Minister:
God is a good God,
Lord of heaven and earth.
Let us humbly bring our cares before God's throne ...
Let us pray to the Lord.
All: O Lord, hear our prayer.

1 Save your people, lord, and bless your inheritance;
govern and uphold them, now and forever.
Let us pray to the Lord [Antiphon]

2 Give peace to your church and to the whole world;
make us your instruments of justice and truth.
Let us pray to the Lord [Antiphon]

3 Grant us forgiveness of our sins and offenses;
have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy.
Let us pray to the Lord. [Antiphon]

4 Strengthen our communion with all your saints;
bind us together by your Holy Spirit.
Let us pray to the Lord. [Antiphon]

5 Heal the sick and comfort the lonely;
relieve the sufferings of all your people.
Let us pray to the Lord. [Antiphon]

6 Remember all who have died in your mercy;
welcome them into the light of your kingdom.
Let us pray to the Lord. [Antiphon]

7 In you, Lord, is our hope;
and we shall never hope in vain.
Let us pray to the Lord. [Antiphon]
