48. Almighty Lord

1 Almighty Lord, Thou rulest,
In sov’reign majesty,
Thy power, Thy dominion wide
Is broader than the sea;
‘Tis higher than the heavens,
‘Tis brighter than the sun,

Praise Thee, the mighty One.

If Thou display Thy might,

The King of heav’n doth stand,
While hosts of angels ready are,
Awaiting His command;
And highest heav’n proclaims Him
