1 Search me, O God, and know my heart,
Try ev’ry tho’t each day,
Bid ev’ry evil thing depart,
Lead me in Thine own way.

Teach me to do Thy will, O Lord,

And there to live each day.

2 Make me to hide Thy blessed word
