Tune: | [Pretty little rosebuds] |

1 Pretty little rosebuds,
Glist’ning with the dew,
‘Mong the green leaves nestling,
In your dress so new;
From your hiding-places,
Peeping sweet and shy,
In your em’rald bower,
Safe from harm you lie.
Refrain:
Pretty rosebuds,
What more fair than you?
Lovely rosebuds,
Beautiful, pure and true;
What sweet tho’ts you give me
As your charms expand,
Living for the Master,
Fashioned by His hand.
2 Dainty little rosebuds,
Bursting into flow’r,
Gath’ring richer beauty
From the passing show’r,
Reaching out your petals,
Gladd’ning ev’ry eye,
Greeting with your fragrance
Ev’ry passerby. [Refrain]
3 Lovely little rosebuds,
May we be like you,
Living for the Master,
Faithful, pure and true;
Of your wealth and beauty,
Richly you bestow,
Ev’ry day a blessing,
As you heav’nward grow. [Refrain]
