18. O praise the Lord, 'tis good to sing

1 O praise the Lord, 'tis good to sing
In joyful songs of praise,
To our exalted Lord and King
Who crowns with love our days.

Chorus:
Sing, sing, sing a song unto the Lord,
Sing, sing, sing a song unto the Lord.

2 He gives us all our daily bread,
In him we live and move;
The very hairs upon our head,
Are numbered by his love. [Chorus]

3 A Father's tender love he shows
To all his children here,
His wondrous loving kindness flows
In streamlets bright and clear. [Chorus]

4 Then sing and praise his gracious name,
And sound his praises forth.
And publish to the world his fame,
And tell of all his worth. [Chorus]
