1 In times when the flesh is so weak and frail,
In times when the doubts and fears assail,
I will look unto God, naught mine eye shall dim;
Then my Father comes close, it is just like Him.

And turn me away from the Heav’nly goal,
When the spirit is willing but flesh is weak,

All my sins He forgives, all diseases heals,

4 When the victory’s won, and the foes all flee,
It is then that I need Father near to me;
Just to rest all secure in His tender care,
