Tune: | [From our Father's hand unnumbered blessings fall] |
Composer: | J. Lincoln Hall |
1 From our Father’s hand unnumbered blessings fall,
Ev’ry hour of ev’ry day His love we see;
In His mercy He provides for one and all,
From a bounty that is rich and free,
O then praise our King!
So let ev’ry heart give tribute to our King,
And from ev’ry voice let songs of worship ring.
Refrain:
Songs of adoration,
Songs of grateful praise,
Hymns of exultation,
To our Lord we’ll raise;
Loyal hearts shall bless Him,
Loyal lips shall sing,
Anthems of rejoicing,
Songs to our King,
Sweet songs to our King.
2 Not alone in ways of duty does He guide,
Not alone is He respondent to our needs,
But He gives to us a thousand joys beside,
Hours of gladness are by Him decreed,
O then praise our King!
So let ev’ry heart give tribute to our King,
And from ev’ry voice let songs of worship ring. [Refrain]
3 So our very hearts go up to Him in song,
As we strive our true allegiance to express,
And we pray that as the moments glide along,
He will dwell with us to guard and bless.
O then praise our King!
Then let ev’ry heart give tribute to our King,
And from ev’ry voice let songs of worship ring. [Refrain]
