45. When I Shall Stand Before the Judge

1 When I shall stand before the Judge,
I will not fear for He loves me,
And in His love I shall appear,
For even now my soul doth cheer.

I will not doubt, for He tells me,
And in His word I shall appear,

I will not shrink, for He fills me,
And in His spirit I shall appear,

4 When I shall stand before the Judge,
I shall be changed as He tells me,
For in that day He shall appear,
I shall His glorious image bear.

5 When I shall stand before the Judge,
I will be bold, in His presence,
“For perfect love doth cast out fear,”
And makes my vision bright and clear.

In His presence, “for perfect love doth cast out fear.”

6 When I shall stand before the Judge,
I then shall know, as He tells me,
For in that day, “we all shall know”
And more like Him forever grow.
