The name of all most dear!
It fees the guilty soul from blame
And banishes its fear.
Dark demons tremble at the sound
And sorrows flee away;
It looses souls by Satan bound
When they believe and pray.

2 The name of Jesus! none so sweet,
Nor yet so full of pow'r;
It fills my heart with grace complete,
And keeps me ev'ry hour.
