Christ victorious came out of the fray,
Wrested from Satan his power and prey,
Opened the portals of heaven.

Soon He cometh to call for His bride,
Safe in her heavenly home.

Have ye oil in your lamp, though the night
Burden your eyes and the flame be not bright,
Still you can meet Him with joy.

All is finished, the debt is paid.
Ne'er the foe against Christ shall prevail;
Though He may tarry, He comes without fail,
Gladd'ning our hearts all the more.

5 Watch and wait unafraid!
All is finished, the debt is paid.
If you're weeping, He dries every tear;
You may not see Him, yet He is so near,
Jesus, your Lord and your friend.

6 Bells are heard far and near,
Tolling: Eternity is here.
May we use those moments of grace,
Serving the Lord who prepared us a place
In those fair mansions of God.
