100. We'll Tell the Story

1 God has given us a message for the nations;
“Tell the news to all the world,” is what he said,
Let us spread the glorious news of full salvation,
That the blind may see and hungry souls be fed.

Chorus:
We’ll tell the story wherever man is found,
We’ll spread the tidings, we’ll spread the tidings;
Till the nations have heard the joyful sounds,
And Christ is crowned as Lord of all.

2 There are millions who have never heard the story,
They have never seen a single ray of light;
If we tarry longer they will miss the glory,
And be plunged in hopeless, everlasting night. [Chorus]

3 We must publish to the world this great salvation
If we long to hear the Master say “Well done,”
If we hope to share his blessed approbation,
And receive from his own hands a shining crown. [Chorus]
