3. I Now Believe in Christ the Lord

1 I now believe in Christ the Lord,
And trust his grace forever,
For well I know he loves his child,
And will forsake me never.

Refrain:
I now believe with all my heart,
That he can bless and save me;
To make atonement for my sin,
His precious life he gave me.

2 I now believe he saves my soul,
His grace is so assuring;
So I go on in faith and love,
Unto the end enduring. [Refrain]

3 I now believe his blood has pow’r,
To satisfy me wholly,
And so I trust my all to him,
This Saviour meek and lowly. [Refrain]

4 I now believe and doubt no more,
And vanished is my sadness;
My faith lays hold upon his grace,
And I have peace and gladness. [Refrain]
