1 If He, my Lord, is with me still
And I in him abide,
If he but whisper to my heart,
Then I am satisfied.

Satisfied in Jesus, my Lord,
He knows my sorrows and care;
I’ll praise his name wherever I go,
And seek his blessing in pray’r.

2 Thro’ pastures green, or shadows deep,
With him my constant guide,
If step by step he leads me on,

In love are oft denied,
I know He gives me what is best,

4 From him my soul, in life or death,
