1. Praise Ye the Lord

1 O magnify the Lord with me,
Exalt His glorious name;
From rising unto setting sun
His wondrous love proclaim.
The tender mercies of the Lord
In show’rs of blessing fall
O’er all His works in Heav’n and earth;
The Lord is good to all.

Refrain:
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Hallelujah! Praise ye the Lord!

2 O praise the Lord ye heav’n of heav’ns,
O praise Him in the height,
Ye angel hosts, and sun and moon,
And all ye stars of light.
O praise the Lord ye heav’ns and earth,
Ye dragons and all deeps;
Ye fire and hail, and snow and clouds,
Ye waters, heaps on heaps. [Refrain]

3 O praise the Lord ye stormy wind
That quick His Word fulfills;
Ye fruitful trees, and cedars tall,
Ye mountains and all hills.
And all ye creatures, great and small,
Ye beasts and creeping things;
Ye cattle, and all flying fowl
That cleave the air with wings— [Refrain]

4 Come praise the Lord! and all ye kings
And people of the earth;
Ye princes, and all judges, too,
Praise Him who gave you birth.
Young men, and maidens, and old men,
And children weak and small
Praise Him whose name alone is great,
And “crown Him Lord of all.” [Refrain]
