1 Laß Du mich stille werden, mein Herr und Gott,
nur Deine Stimme hören in Glück und Not;
bring alles eigne Wollen in mir zur Ruh
und meines Lebens Fragen entscheide Du!

2 Wenn ich den Weg nicht finde in dunklem Streit,
leucht mir mit ewgem Lichte durch diese Zeit!
Bin ich in Deinem Bilde dereinst erwacht,
dann rühm ich Deine Gnade: Du hast´s vollbracht.
