70. Close to Jesus' Side

1 I care not what cometh of darkness or light;
Since Jesus is with me, it all will be right;
I’ve naught here to wish for whatever betide,
As closely I nestle by his loving side.

2 Tho’ dark clouds may gather, and thunders may roll,
