76. Answer “Yes”

1 If the voice of God should come to you today,
“Consecrate to me your all;”
If he asked of you the treasures held so dear,
Would you answer to his call?

Refrain:
Answer “Yes” when he calls,
For the Lord has work for you to do,
Answer “Yes” when he calls,
And your service he will bless.
Answer “Yes” when he calls,
And no matter what he says to you,
Do not falter, hesitate, nor ask him “why?”
But answer “Yes.”

2 By the still small voice your Maker speaks to you,
Are you willing to obey?
Would you answer “Yes” and not a question ask
If it be to go or stay? [Refrain]

3 Can you now with faith your all to him confide,
Trusting in his grace alone?
Can you answer “Yes” if God requires of you
Ev’ry comfort you have known? [Refrain]

4 Tho’ you have dark hours in Gethsemane,
And your eyes are fill’d with tears;
When the way seems darkest light is sure to break;
Trust in God and stay your fears. [Refrain]
