60. He Won My Heart

1 Once I wandered on where the light was dim,
Far away from right in the fields of sin;
But I heard a voice and I came to Him,
Then the Saviour won my heart.

Refrain:
Now my life is one with Jesus,
Never from Him to part;
Nothing now I need of earthly treasure,
Since the dear Saviour has won my heart.

2 Long my heart rebelled and refused to see,
How the loving Saviour could make me free;
But at last His love over power’d me,
And the Saviour won my heart. [Refrain]

3 Burdened with my guilt and besetting sin,
Long my heart refused, would not let Him in;
Now I’ve yielded all, life anew to win,
Since the Saviour won my heart. [Refrain]
