107. Daily Marching Onward

1 Daily marching onward thro’ the vale of time,
Gladly looking upward unto heights sublime;
We are pressing onward to behold the King,
Where our hallelujahs shall forever ring.

Refrain:
Marching onward in the heav’nward way,
Trusting Jesus as our Guide each day;
We will follow Him in faith and love,
Till we reach the city that is built above.

2 When we, in our journey, are by foes assailed,
We will trust the Conqu’ror who has never failed;
After all the conflict victory is sure,
If our faith and courage all the way endure. [Refrain]

3 Boldly marching onward, fearing not the strife,
Loyal to our Saviour in this early life;
We shall share His glory when our march is o’er,
Shining crowns of triumph wearing evermore. [Refrain]
