1 Zion, awake, thy strength renew,
Put on thy robes of beauteous hue;
And let th’admiring world behold
The King’s fair daughter clothed in gold.

2 Church of our God, arise and shine,
Bright with the beams of truth divine!
Then shall thy radiance stream afar,
Wide as the heathen nations are.

3 Gentiles and kings thy light shall view:
All shall admire and love thee, too;
Shall come like clouds across the sky,
Or doves that to their windows fly.
