1. Turn not away from the heav’nly word,
Spurn not the message your ears have heard,
But yield your heart to the Savior’s care,
And in His service and His glory share.

Long He has waited, long He has striven,

And o’er the cross see the golden crown.

2. Turn not away from the gentle voice,
