Text: | I Know Whom I Have Believed (Miles) |
Author: | C. Austin Miles |
Tune: | [Praises be to God, for I am glory bound] |
Composer: | Charles Austin Miles |
Media: | MIDI file |
1. Praises be to God, for I am glory bound,
For I am a miracle of grace;
Ask of God a sign, it surely can be found
In a happy Christian’s face.
Refrain
I know whom I have believèd
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I’ve committed
Unto Him against that day.
O praise the Lord!
2. I am under grace, no longer under law,
In the blessèd light of love I’m free;
To the Word of God I go when sore distressed,
This is what it says to me: [Refrain]
3. When the days are dreary, spent in pain or woe,
When the watches of the night are long,
I’ll be trusting Jesus, so in every place
I can always sing this song. [Refrain]
