And may the promise of Advent be yours this day and always.

15618. Morn Of Beauty!

1 Morn of beauty! Morn of gladness,
Brightening o’er the sinful earth;
Chasing shades of doubt and sadness,
Wakening all to holy mirth.

2 Past the days of tears and mourning,
Peace and joy alone remain;
Hail alone the light of Easter dawning
On the darksome world again.

3 Ransomed sinners gladly waking,
Bless the day the Savior rose;
Chains of death asunder breaking,
Vain the malice of His foes.

4 Now redemption’s work completed,
Gloriously He leaves the grave!
Be by every tongue repeated,
"Christ the Lord is ris’n to save!"
