How for us He left His throne
That He might from death release us,
And adopt us as His own?

His acknowledged friends receive:
Riches, honors, life possessing,

3 Heaven’s blessings, rich, descending
Crown with joy each thankful heart;
Jesus’ love and peace unending
Bless each one who takes a part.

4 Precious is the Lord’s providing,
Sign of His unfailing grace;
Evermore in Him confiding,
