1 Children, hear the melting story
Of the Lamb that once was slain;
’Tis the Lord of life and glory:
Shall He plead with you in vain?
O receive Him, O receive Him,
And salvation now obtain.

2 Yield no more to sin and folly,
So displeasing in His sight;
Jesus loves the pure and holy,
They alone are His delight;
Seek His favor, seek His favor,
And your hearts to Him unite.

3 All your sins to Him confessing
Who is ready to forgive;
Seek the Savior’s richest blessing,
On His precious name believe;
He is waiting, He is waiting,
Will you not His grace receive?
