1 How sweet the call of mercy,
Inviting every heart
To come and love their Savior,
Ere youthful days depart;
’Tis in the Holy Bible,
These precious words we see:
"Forbid ye not the children,
But let them come to Me."

2 O may His Spirit teach us
To know and do the right;
