Happy children now in the temple sing,

Hosanna to the Lord our King.
O praise him for the flowers that grow,

Happy children, give him your youth's bright days;

He ever loveth you, he says.
O love him, for he loves us so;

Happy children, serve him with songs of joy;

And let his work your hands employ.
