On reverent bended knee,
To thee I bow;
To thee my prayer I raise,
To thee my psalm of praise,
In thine unbounded grace,

2 Weary and weak I come,

To see thy face;
O Father, hear my plea,
And take me nearer thee,
And let thy bosom be
My resting place.
