LXII. Loud be thy name ador'd

1 Loud be thy name ador'd,
Thy titles spread abroad,
Of Christ our glorious Lord,
The Father and the God;
Thro' such a Son thy church's head,
O'er worlds unknown thine honours spread.

2 Ten thousand gifts of love
From thee thro' him descend,
And bear our souls above,
To joys that never end;
Sustain'd by God, to heaven they soar
And thro' the road his arm adore.

3 Then thousand songs of praise
Shall for thy mercies rise,
And thro' eternal day,
Shall echo round the skies;
New shouts we'll give, and loud proclaim,
The glories of thy sacred name.
