Text: | See the truth, thy keeper, stand |
Author: | Charles Wesley |
1 See the Truth, thy Keeper,stand
Omnipotent and near;
Lo! It holds thee by the hand,
And banishes thy fear;
Shadows with Its power thy head,
Guards from all presumption’s harm;
Round thee and beneath are spread,
It’s everlasting arms
2 Truth shall keep thy going out,
Shall keep thy coming in;
Kindly compass thee about,
Destroy all sense of sin;
Ever, its our sure defense,
We its watchful care will prove,
Kept by its Omnipotence,
And never-ceasing Love.
